Finance Director (Ref: BH-10237-2) Permanent

I am currently working on an exclusive basis with a privately-owned manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a Finance and Operations Director. Working closely with the Managing Director you will be responsible for managing the Finance, HR and IT functions. Key duties will include:

– Contribute to business strategy and deliver high quality financial information and commercial analysis to aid and support the decision making process
– Ensure the business has ‘best in class’ accounting processes and controls, plus prerequisite IT and management information systems in place to ensure accurate decision making and ongoing improvemen
– Manage, motivate and develop the Finance, HR and IT teams ensuring they work cross-functionally to understand, deliver and even pre-empt the needs of the business through the timely delivery of business plans, budgets, forecasts, cost controls and proactive reporting and analysis
 
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a proven track record of commercial achievement at board level, gained in the manufacturing sector. You will possess an inquisitive mind, combined with a genuine interest in the broader business and excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
